Kase Night Focus Tool & Light Pollution Filter (Neutral Night) Kit
Kase Night Focus Tool
The Kase Night Focus Tool is designed to assist you in manually focusing on light sources at night. This can be both man-made or stars for example. A series of thin lines etched into the flat surface allow you to focus to a sharp point of light, no more out of focus night images. Please see below for video demonstration.
Kase Wolverine Light Pollution
The Kase Wolverine Light Pollution (Neutral Night) filters are your perfect companion for night time photography, both astrophotography and cityscape images. The filter works by reducing the orange sodium glow that is associated with old style street and residential lighting. It filters this light source, reducing the amount that reaches your cameras sensor.
Examples of use for this filter is when capturing astrophotography in an area with less than perfect light pollution, the filter can help reduce the orange glow that can blight a good milky way or stars shot. Another great use of this filter is for cityscape shots, you will notice it reduces greatly the glare of sodium lights in your scene.
There is a massive Facebook group of KASE filters users on Facebook, posting Photos using Kase filter systems. To access this resource please go to Facebook, while logged in, in Facebook search bar type in: #kasepro. The Facebook group name is called behind the lens. You will be able to see hundreds of sample shots and a few review guides in that group.

blades_stormBy: Michael Rumpart on 19 August 2022I really love the Bright Star filter by Kase. In astronomy, it’s also known as a Bahtinov Mask. This is a special kind of mask that mounts in front of your camera lens so you can obtain perfect focus for the stars, and it can also be used in regards to sharp focus for city scenes. The NEUTRAL NIGHT filter is an Astro photography's best friend. I highly recommend Kase filters. I will also be purchasing more filters from the store...
